Prerequisites
According to the Norwegian Maritime Directorate (NMD) the
competence assessment of trainees shall be done by personnel with
minimum:
- Class 2 certificate of competence
- Received appropriate training (section A-I/6-6)
- 3 years sea service as ships officer
